We’re Phil & Casey, the dynamic team behind The Boutique Home Group. What began back in late 2017 as Boutique Homes of Galena—a small collection of cozy, character-filled retreats—has grown into a thoughtfully curated portfolio of unique vacation rentals across Illinois, Michigan, Arizona, and Texas. Whether you're seeking a quiet weekend escape or a luxurious getaway, each of our homes is designed to deliver comfort, style, and a touch of charm. Every detail is intentional, every space welcoming—because we believe your stay should feel nothing short of exceptional.

Are you pet friendly?

Yes! We love our furry friends and all of our homes are pet friendly for a small additional fee.

Do you offer vacation rental managment services?

Yes! We offer concierge style vacation rental managment solutions in Galena and select parts of Michigan. Ask us about our background and professional licenses!

What group sizes can you accommodate?

We offer homes for the single traveller all the way through to large groups of 14 people.

I don't see the perfect home for me. What should I do?

Reach out to us - we are adding new properties to our collection all the time!

Are early check-in's / late check out's available?

Yes, but subject to availability and a small additional hourly rate.

Are there any additional charges?

The price you see when booking is the price you'll pay including all taxes and fees. However, if you choose an 'add on' such as bringing a pet or pool heating, this will be a separate charge.

Are you qualified to manage my property for me?

Absolutely! Phil is a licensed real estate professional in IL & MI!

We had a wonderful stay at Phil’s place in Galena! Our group of five ladies had more than enough space, and having a bathroom for each person was such a bonus. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing in the evenings - robes and towels provided made it extra comfortable. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet, with a lovely paved walking path just down the road. Highly recommend for a peaceful and well-equipped getaway!

The place was really amazing. Location is perfect right next to the beach. The whole community is very peaceful and it seems like there are lots of rentals. I can imagine that it can get busy in the summer. It was really wonderful to visit in January. Phil was incredible! I have never had any Airbnb host provide that many details and that much information before my stay and during my stay. The only thing that I would say is that it was very well heated so it was warm inside, but the floors are running a little bit colder so I would say bring a pair of slippers for the inside if you’re visiting in the winter.

This is the best place we have been in a long while. We loved the place itself and everything surrounding it. It is a great place to take a relaxing time off of business and breathe in the calm and beauty. They were so responsive and had everything we needed. Including toys, books and even crib without asking. We didn’t find anything to complain about, just absolutely perfect!

Beautifully appointed with all modern updates. The hot tub is big and wonderful, it can fit 6 people comfortably. This is a very snowy part of the state so be sure there is a shovel available to gain access to their outdoor amenities.

We had such a wonderful stay! This is a perfect location for getting around, and having private parking was a huge plus. The home was warm, cozy, and very clean. It’s close to downtown, yet quiet and private, which made it very relaxing. The space was comfortable and well-maintained, and everything we needed was provided. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to others!

Phil's place was absolutely perfect for our family NYE adventure! The space provided plenty for room for 3 couples, the upstairs was perfect for good energy flow, cooking and was overall just cozy, and welcoming. Decorated beautifully and had everything we needed for a few days stay. The location is perfect. Private and woodsy and quickly accessible to the lake shore, just a fabulous little nature haven while still being in a neighborhood and close to both South Haven and Sagatuck. We enjoyed the hot tub in the snow too. There were plenty of good food options in the nearby towns and Douglas has a fabulous art scene. Phil was helpful and very responsive when we had questions about how to use the nest and lights and such. He had extra blankies and pillows too which made things cozy. He was so kind and helpful too allowing us all the flexibility for guests, pets, and check in/checkout times. Would absolutely stay at one of his houses again.
