What Our Guests Are Saying

We came to Chicago to enjoy the museums and beaches with our 5-year-old, and Phil's place was a great home base. It was easy to find, convenient for driving to and from downtown, and the neighborhood felt very safe, which was important to us. Parking behind the home was easy and hassle-free. The king bed was spacious and comfortable for our family, and we appreciated the provided coffee and Roku TV for relaxing after long days of exploring. We occasionally heard dogs barking when we returned in the evenings, but it wasn't disruptive and the property was otherwise quiet. The bath towels were a bit thin and the tub drained slowly, but those were minor issues that didn't affect our stay. Overall, the home was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We'd happily stay here again.

Great trip, great space to relax. I was allowed to check in hours earlier which was great! Everything was great and up to par!

Surrounding area was very cozy and had convenient stores nearby. Place was clean and the patio was very cute. Grill was not available as expected and sofa bed was smaller than expected, but we made it work. Company was very quick with their responses to our questions.

Everything was great and not too far away from downtown! Place very clean and cozy!!! Highly recommend we will be back

We enjoyed our week in Chicago while staying at Philβs place. The kitchen was very well-equipped for any food prep youβd like to do. The coffee and coffee maker were so nice to have. The a/c was VERY good, which was important to us during this horribly hot summer. The parking space was a great amenity! Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Thanks!

We were very pleased with the layout & furnishings. Beds were comfy, the towels were cozy, and there's a TV in each room. There are officially two bedrooms, but the den easily functions as its own private room. The location is convenient, with shopping, restaurants and bars in the area. It's a short walk (about 1/2 mile) to the Green Line or drive (around 5 minutes ) to the Park & Ride for the Blue Line. It's 9-ish miles from O'Hare, that ride took a out 30 minutes.All-in-all, everything we needed.
-
A comfortable, quiet and well appointed space. Peaceful neighborhood and yet close to several great commercial areas. Phil communicated well and often, including responding quickly to a handful of issues with the unit that I discovered upon arriving. The unit itself is the basement level of a home, so small windows with limited natural light, but otherwise comfortable for a short stay.
