🚲 Any property amenities are provided for guests' enjoyment and are used at your own risk.
🏡 The Green Street Getaway is a charming historic Michigan cottage. Please note that the staircase to the upper level is steep, and the home's full bathroom is located on the main floor. Guests with mobility concerns or very young children should take this into consideration when booking.
🔥 Firewood and propane are not provided but can be easily purchased locally if you'd like to enjoy the fire pit or grill during your stay.
🐾 We welcome well-behaved dogs, but please note that the yard is not fully fenced.
🚭 The home is strictly non-smoking and non-vaping, both indoors and on the property grounds.

This place was great. Had everything you need to cook and hang out with a family and there was plenty of space.

Don't let the eccentric color of the house keep you from renting this place - it is wonderful! The house was so comfortable - the beds, furniture, and extras were all great. There was plenty of room for our party of 5 adults and 2 dogs. The kitchen was very well stocked and there wasn't one thing that we needed that wasn't already in the house for our use. The back yard was a good size and was the perfect place to sit and watch the squirrels and birds in the morning. The neighborhood was quiet and the surrounding area was very pretty. It is located within a 3 minute drive to South Haven beach and all of the shops in town. Phil and his assistant, Elanor, were wonderful to work with throughout the entire rental process. I highly recommend this rental.

This is a great option for guests looking to visit South Haven, MI and be within walking distance of downtown and the beach, while being in a more serene, neighborhood environment. The house was clean and had all the standard amenities you would expect. The only negatives we had from our experience was that none of the bicycles in the shed were in working condition (deflated/dry rotted tires), the air conditioners in the house were extremely loud, and the stairs to the second level were very dangerous at night due to the non-standard spacing. The host was proactive reaching out and offering information about local activities and the rental process which was much appreciated. Good experience overall!

Had a wonderful stay with friends for the 4th of July weekend. Everything was within walking distance and lots to do in the area.

Bikes were all flat or had damaged tires. One of the main reasons we picked the property was for the use of bicycles. Disappointed. The property was very expensive for what was offered. Some of the cleaning could have been better.

Phil was always responsive, and gave great recommendations for local spots. The home felt comfortable with still a good amount of privacy.

The home was nice, easy to find. I appreciate the listing being a pet friendly location but the yard is NOT fenced in, the whole reason I I look for air bnb vs hotel. We had a nice time in town and within a 20 minute drive to other towns we like to visit. Phil was responsive when necessary and the space was nice and clean.

Peaceful place and beach views, 5 minutes away by car. Great restaurants, ice cream area such as Sherman’s, and coffee places, abound! The Mt Balhead Park, The Oval Beach, the SoHa Lighthouse and the amazing view of the sunset, were highlights of our short stay! Needless to say, our dog had a ball as well, although it was not allowed in the Oval Beach.
