🏡 The Green Street Getaway is a charming historic Michigan cottage. Please note that the staircase to the upper level is steep, and the home's full bathroom is located on the main floor. Guests with mobility concerns or very young children should take this into consideration when booking.
🔥 Firewood and propane are not provided but can be easily purchased locally if you'd like to enjoy the fire pit or grill during your stay.
🐾 We welcome well-behaved dogs, but please note that the yard is not fully fenced. Additional pet fee applies.
🚭 The home is strictly non-smoking and non-vaping, both indoors and on the property grounds.

I really wish air bnb allowed half stars because I’m between a 3 and a 4 here…. Pros: Extremely proactive communication and really appreciated all the local recommendations. Location was walkable to downtown area and a short drive to the beach and grocery store. Dog friendly which we found to limit our options of places to stay. The not so great things: When we arrived there was a coffee mug with coffee in it sitting on dining room table. The house also had a pretty significant musty smell which is apparently a known issue because there were multiple air fresheners in each room. One day into our stay, we noticed the bathroom window was half way open which we didn’t notice right away bc it was covered by blinds. There’s not working central AC so there’s multiple portable units and window units which did keep the space cool but were LOUD. Water pressure in bathroom was weaker than what I’m used to.

The place is very charming and located less than a mile from town in a very comfortable neighborhood. Little bit dated when it comes to the actual amenities of the place but everything was in working order and we appreciate the large amount of extra towels and cooking supplies. Well worth our stay at the price!

My family and I stayed here for a long weekend, and we had a great time! It was within walking distance to downtown and the beach. The outdoor area and yard was a nice place to spend time and make s’mores!

Phil’s place was perfect for a college girls reunion weekend. Was close enough to the beach and downtown. Had enough space for everyone.

Pet friendly to the extreme!! The couches smell like pee, the pillows are all stained. Trim falling off of walls. Dark. Mildew smell.

Phil was a great host and very accommodating! The house is in a great location and is perfect for a family vacation!
