The place was pretty messy for what we paid for. Other then crumbs and pasta on the floor the place was nice for a one night stay in galena

We stayed for 3 nights and it was wonderful. The drive can seem intimidating but we definitely got the hang of it after the first day. The views are spectacular. The house was very clean and we had no issues at all. Phil was very proactive in reaching out to us for whatever we needed. We also appreciated the availability for a later check out. Check in & check out instructions were clear and simple. Thank you Phil for giving us an amazing place to stay during our visit to Galena!

This place could be a real gem with the right cleaning crew and manager. Phil seemed nice enough, but had excuses for why the place was dirty and why he was stressed due to problems at another property. Here is the list of issues: Grill was dirty, 1 bathroom hair and gunk on the base of shower, bathroom shampoo holder fell and spilled all over floor, freezer leaked, no ice for the entirety of our stay cobwebs on kitchen ceiling, and several other things. The cleaners need to pay more attention to details. They need to lift the rugs to clean under them--- that was gross! On the Good side--- Great Location, nice condo if kept up properly, right on the water by the boats! We feel that we deserve a partial refund for all of the issues we contacted Phil about and didn't get repaired, replaced or just didn't show up with the ice trays. We ended up having a wonderful time, but had to ignore many things. 20% refund, perhaps?

We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed our time here. The home was beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming, and it felt like home from the moment we arrived. The balcony was a lovely place to relax, and the quiet setting made our stay especially peaceful. The paved trail was just a short walk away, making it easy to get outside and enjoy the area. Phil was kind and very responsive, and he answered all of our questions promptly. We’re grateful for such a pleasant stay and would happily recommend this place to others.

Phil was very flexible with us checking in early, he responded quickly, and was very friendly. Will stay here again!

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt in der Unterkunft! Sehr gemütlich und toll eingerichtet sowie dekoriert. Für uns war der kurze Weg zur Bahnstation sehr positiv- zehn Minuten zu Fuß und zack mit der grünen Linie in ca. 15-20 Minuten in Chicago. Restaurants und Pubs ebenso in sämtliche Richtungen zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir hatten eine wirklich tolle Zeit- Danke Phil und Sandra 🫶🏻

The place was exactly what we needed for a short weekend in Chicagoland. That being said, this is a basement unit, the floors above are paper thin, and they have a toddler who is quite noisy. Some people don’t mind, but if you’re sensitive to sound, this might not be the place for you. Eric was very responsive with any questions I have, and was great to work with.

Great getaway spot right on the water! Had all the amenities we needed and close to all local Saugatuck and Douglas restaurants and attractions.
